The male piece is about 1/16? too long. Maybe I got a bad one, but I returned (Thanks Amazon) and sucked it up and shelled out the extra cash for the QC35 II. The insole is cushy in a good way: other slippers I have (memory foam) tend to bottom out and stay compressed and not supportive. Trouble with these designs are simple: if you use one, the other one--left hanging--tends to pull itself down until the unused pod is banging against my belly. These shoes are incredible & so comfortable! These headphones function perfectly for my unsophisticated needs and most importantly, my meditation downloads can be heard very clearly, in stereo.
