It was so tight I had could not slide it out - had to use a charging cable to push it out. A few of the pre-drilled holes were just too snug, so it was a genuinely frustrating struggle. However, thats beyond the warranty return date allowable, so all I know to do at this point is leave a negative review. Packaging was not damaged. The only thing I wish Bearpaw had done when making these was to add a little more cushion, like what they have in their regular boots, which are amazing! They look great, clean easily and even when my feet swell a little towards the end of the day I can still slip them on without trouble. Whether or not these are a bad batch produced by a new manufacturer or these are fake controllers I have no idea. I used larger wood screws and drilled directly into a stud instead of the supplied drywall anchors. These are one of my new favorite sandal! I expected memory foam.
