The idea of a single, affordable mount for two kayaks is great, but if youre using any kind of an SUV (mine is a 2018 Chevy Traverse), the safe mount position of the carrier makes it impossible to load the boats without climbing your vehicle to do it and having a second person to lift the stern in the process. it was fitted using ratchet straps and started to rust a bit, which concerned me.
