I try to tuck in the excess strap near the toes, that takes time. Overall, it?s great to have on the trails when making sandwiches and such. Am 80+ and tend to bump into chair legs, etc. Plus the cord is long enough to fit into my arm band and give me some space to move about. My one initial gripe I had was the clamping force, as it was a bit too tight for my liking at first, and one who wears glasses I have to kinda fidget them about to get it right. It does what its supposed to do. Also there is a strap on the bottom that is not shown in any pictures - you are supposed to wrap it around the back of the tire and it is a really annoying extra step (although it does provide a bit of extra stability). She is a uk 5. I got so made after month 2 when I was on the third row of hooks and it was loose. I did it all by myself with no problem.
