That said, the HD 598 Cs is somewhat punchier with the bass, but the HD 598 SE is definitely smoother and more enjoyable to listen to. It?s a little flimsier than I had anticipated, but we?re not using it for weight anyways. By the end of my flight I had a headache and my ears were sore, I had to take breaks to take them off. My biggest concern is the silicone rubber retention straps.
