TLDR: You gotta be lucky if this works for you the way you want it. I bought it for my aduly autistic son months ago. I use to be able to plug my earbuds into my work computer, but now they are too short. Typical Bose sound quality. Thats way I rated only a 4. In the first once I assembled the instruction manual was not cut into pages so I almost missed 2 whole steps (easy solution was to rip it apart). Theyve got a V-shaped "consumer" tuning, as you would expect, but not as extreme as Beats or Monsters. The case is hard enough to protect whats inside, but not too hard that its heavy or cumbersome. The bottom cut outs are perhaps a little too small, but its impossible to accommodate everyones bum. 5 feet, but they are so roomy and long I think a medium would have been a better choice.
