I put blue locktite on every screw, the plastic housing is fragile so if you over tighten it will rip the thread housing out. I?ve owned these before and they were wonderful but these are soooo stiff. I will continue to purchase Skecher brand shoes in the future. This is a good starter to intermediate level set and comes with everything you need to get started. I put them on and they were so much better than anything, (including the factory supplied straps) that I?ve ever used , that I immediately ordered another pair. I AM NOT SPONSORED BY HYPERX I am just very happy that I finally found a product that wont break after 2 uses. A lot of stands usually go in the center of the bike frame where the manufacturer typically leaves a hole in. I?m a small 5?7? female and had no issues putting these on alone. All is all, for the price it seems to be an excellent set. amazing Value!
