Just doesnt appear that one of the design goals or intended uses was rough and tumble play. Once on the pad, however, it feels like a long way down. I sadly had to return the product and will be receiving a replacement pair. If you want an "objet dart" that also plays music, this just might be your jam. I will follow up in the future if/when any hooks fall off. After wearing these several months, they are comfortable and supportive as expected from Dansko. Time will tell if they flatten out fast or not. if I leave them out in the sun they colour up beautifully but in the bag. I was even more disappointed when I looked into how much it would cost if I let Apple replace the pads so I Googled how to replace them myself - there are lots of YouTube videos.
