The current TV is an LG 47LA620V so I bought an LG sound stage (like a soundbar) a year or two ago and while this produces much better quality sound than the tiny speakers in the TV and helped for a while, the maximum volume is a lot greater than what the TV itself can produce and just added to the Dad, the TVs too loud! Its bamboo, so the weight you think a bench like this should have is a bit different. Regardless, a worth while purchase!
