Real Tevas (pic on the left) are solid and have a bottom layer that feels and sounds more like a sneaker hitting the ground than a flat slap - notice the real Teva has a matte tire look to the sole and the fake (on the right) has a sheen to the cheap plastic. Assembling took a little gestimating but it came together pretty easily. Im 22 yrs old with size 3 (kids) feet. These were super easy to install and super comfortable.
