In the picture I attach you can see the smallest splice that they have used to splice two wires (18-20 awg copper stranded, I dont remember) and the splice is still translucent and the solder flowed great (note the right side wire, the insulation is a little bubbled and thats my fault with the heat in one spot too long and also with that small of a gauge of wire it can heat up really quick). I could have probably order a size one but I?m glad it will be able to last a little longer First, the display did not work. I really didn?t want to sort beads, I was so disappointed. The Amazon customer service proudly gave me a link to a Chinese website asking me to get a manufacturer warranty. Let me not forget, I use it on the roof of my car where it attaches by magnets, which are housed in a suction casing so that each time you remove and re-attach it to & from the roof of your vehicle the magnets wont scrape/scratch or damage the roof of your car/truck at all. People seem to think that if a microphone doesnt have a flat frequency response, it isnt any good.
