I was hoping the use the car clips but there was nowhere in my car to attach the clips. Still too large - the foot plate is now correct length and width but straps too long so quite loose and impossible to walk in. They stay in my feet just fine without having to be tightened to the point of being uncomfortable. And, the light show bit also makes these seem more fragile, given that, if dropped, Im pretty sure the plastic housing (which is most of the speaker area) would easily crack, as just mentioned above. For me at least, my desk feels cluttered when thick cables are running all across it. The strap is stretchy. It makes for a wonderful shelf for spices/food items in small and medium sized jars.
