You lose length as the toe tapers. Also, I was able to keep my ceiling fan on during a recording and still did not have to do much editing in post. 5, and sometimes 8 if it runs small. These Gaston Fisherman sandals are very good for my feet. Bypassing the dock, cables all work fine. Also the assembly was easy. Nonetheless, I still recommend them for indoor or light outdoor use. (I am short, 52") I spend less time lingering at the dinner table. Id say fine for the plane, but not constant on the go. The Noise Cancelling still works.
