This is an extremely well made product, very strong but still a comfortable material. While I still feel some minor discomfort, its the first time in years that Ive worn shoes outside with only minor discomfort.   Perfectly adequate. They are angled in a way that puts more pressure on the top part of your ear and leaves a gap at the bottom. I dress my boys like mini men and I love the look of these just as much as the practicality of them. Hands down. this is how I found these on Amazon, but a variety of other shapes or prints would be fun! They look great and offer great support! I ordered a second one 10 minutes afters I received the package. I honestly don?t know if the foam density is any different as I?ve never had the opportunity to use the IPR hip thrust pad.
